Hotel Review: 2D1N in G Suite, G Hotel Gurney, Penang

Surprising Christmas gift I have ever had! If you have been sticking with me on IG (@mablemaeve), I'd attended G Hotel Media Appreciation Evening back in July and won the prize for 2 days 1 night at G Suite, G Hotel Gurney!!

The event brought up all attendee (media members) to participate into games, rewards including buffet vouchers and hotel room stay. So I managed to beat the rest in a game and got the first prize which is a stay of 2 days 1 Night at G Hotel Gurney, G Suite!

The best getaway for me totally carefree! No work stress, no make up, no rules to obey...all simply follow our heart to go. How long have you missed such relaxation?

The hotel crew ring our door after a short while we checked-in. Opened up the door and received it with both hands, not to forget, the friendly smile, such a warm welcome to me seriously!

How could we resist the must-have bed scene photo? HAHAHA

There's also a pillow menu for guests to choose for best support and comfort to body and head. Choices include polyester pillow, natural response contour pillow, latex solutions natural latex pillow and microfibre pillow. Just ring Guest Service Call to get your preferred one!

We're amazed for Gurney Drive view from a high floor (but also a sense of regret to see land reclamation that is on progress). 

We thought that it is an awesome backdrop too!

Look out from the bedroom, it is kinda sad to see landfill works happening at Gurney drive. Somehow the development goes too extreme that killing our mother nature.

Oh ya, there's also 2 mini refrigerator with free beverages and some chocolate as a little sweet treat in the afternoon.

We went to the sister hotel, G Kelawai for the rooftop view at 24th floor.

To shorten our walking time, we hopped on the buggy car!

Simply approach the hotel receptionist to enjoy the complimentary service from between G Gurney and G Kelawai.

Back for night swim a year after.
Then I realized that I'm sort of strange to water hmm..my dyed hair now is somehow not suitable to get myself into pool :(

Breakfast @ Executive Lounge 

G Suite guest are entitled for dining access at the Executive Lounge (15th floor) from 6.30pm to 10pm.

Morning session serves buffet breakfast (6.30am till 11am) whereas you can have free flow of cocktails and wine in the evening!

For more, log on to G Hotel Official Website , they claim to have lower rate of G Hotel room reservation directly thru their website than other sites. It can be up to 37% discount for room reservation made in 15 days in advance.
