Allow Me to Speak

Hi everyone, this entry would be a personal corner as a little instrument to destress as I'm currently in the midst of achieving the task in each course. This is within my expectation after all but having the great passion for blogging would be an aid to me at this critical time, so that I can trigger out the negatives vibes within and cheer myself to keep going on everyday's challenges.

Here's one short video from me to let you guys know what I'm recently up to (alright, none other than academic stuff)
You could see by far the ugly and messy look from me and pardon for the pimples *facepalm

Thank you for watching!

Alam Sekitar INASIS SME Bank, Bukit Kachi UUM

This entry is for academic purpose of course subject  SBLM 1023 INTRODUCTION TO WRITING Session A161 2016/2017

Terima Kasih.

Humble Review: Lavish Fusion Bakery @ Victoria Street, Penang

Hey guys, it's been more than a month since my last entry on Humble Review series. So here's one newly launched in town with its grand opening last week! Guess that most of you wouldn't be strange towards Lavish Fusion Bakery with a corner of its signature landscape as a background in the house.

Another spot added to Instragram-worthy, ain't it?

Owned by Love A Loaf Bakery Cafe, Lavish Fusion Bakery, from the name itself, is another cafe to hop on with mains and dessert to be served besides the bread and bun. It is not hard to be spotted with its white coloured theme in whole at Victoria Street. However, searching for parking lot might be a challenge in Georgetown heritage area though.

There is a florist shop named Petals & Leafz where it merges with Lavish into a shop lot.

Beautiful X'mas items and little decorations that awe the ladies!

Here we go!

A long walkway upon your opening of the door with beautiful flowers display from Petal and Leafz.

You could also enter Petals and Leafz and stroll to see all these beautiful flowers

Another corner for photoshooting!

And ta-daa..the signature and most favourite seats by the diners, I suppose.
It's a shared table anyhow, unless you have a big number of friends and family to fit it up (LOL!)

Self-service mode in placing order at the cashier.

How could it be without buns to satisfy the diners in a fusion bakery cafe.

There are quite limited bakery selections with limited quantities as well during our visit.
I was planning to have some sliced cakes, however, the cashier claimed that the cakes were all sold out
I saw only the whole one and some fusion pies like banana pie.

Alright, menu time!

Lavish serves breakfast, too, as it operates daily as early as 8 in the morning.

A number of pasta selections from RM 22.80 onwards.

What about some greens or small plate to share?
Ahh, I like the sandwich to be true. Read my comment about it later.

For the caffeine and tea addicts.

Dessert drinks would be another favourite series of beverages in the house!
Not to forget, a list of alcoholic drinks for white-collars to cheer the times after work.

Upon our visiting, cronut ice cream is so much popular that it's easily spotted on almost every table. Beside Uji Matcha flavoured, Lavish serves also Salted Egg Caremel and the local delight, Durian Musang King! Price between RM 23.90 and RM 24.90.

Waiting time is fairly acceptable within our expectation.
We did not go for the buns/cronut/croissant in the house, rather, we had the mains.

Wild Mushroom Salad (RM 17.80)
Served with arugula, wild mushroom with the fantastic dressing of pesto, balsamic reduction and grana padano.

Both of my friends quite like it and to my own surprise, YES from me as well!
I am totally not a fan of salad but the saucing is simply condimental that I guess I could have one for myself too.

Spicy Bacon Amatriciana (RM 25.80)
Spaghetti with bacon, tomato puree, onion with the ornament of some chili flakes, grana padano, topped with basil leaf.

The name excites us but not for food. It doesn't wow us though as it consists only little spicy which one of my friends who can't really tolerate with spicy food is totally okay with it, so it might be a disappointment for spicy food lovers.

Greek Souvlaki Sandwich (RM 18.80)
Toasted buttered bread with chicken thigh, lettuce, Kyuri (Japanese cucumber), wedges with little dressing of honey mustard and tomatoes salsa.

I was quite reluctant to order this initially since I don't feel like having pasta, in the end it turned out to be a satisfying one!

Open up the sandwich, you could see that there are two pieces of medium-sized chicken thighs and few wedges.

I really enjoy having it as it's not too dry to chew, too.
Tasted the other two earlier one and this is my recommendation to anyone of you who don't wish to have pasta.

A friend of ours came late and she ordered her all-time favourite, Aglio Olio (RM 21.80)
Spaghetti served with bacon, wild mushroom, chili flakes, Italian Parsley and some virgin olive oil.

None other than the common ones, it tastes fair yet a little bit salty.
Perhaps you could request it to have less salty when you order at the cashier.

A good evidence of non-stop taking photo at Lavish Fusion Bakery
(for almost everyone)  LOL!

Save up the location for your convenience!

Thousand Salad dressing
