Humble Review: Coffee D @ Jalan Pekan Cina, Alor Setar, Kedah

Wednesday, August 10, 2016

Wanted to find a peaceful corner at your dining convenience with beloved ones? Coffee D could fulfill your request. Situated along Jalan Penjara Lama where there are cafes ( click here to read my review on Caffe Diem) and bistro that are quite happening till late night.

With the aid of dim lighting, air-conditioned and peaceful environment, diners could just spend a whole evening having meals and sipping coffee to kill the times. If you heart soft toys a lot, this giant size (approximately 1.8 meter) would be a spot for photography which is also Instagram-worthy.

This giant soft toy is apparently the signature in the house. Diners could take it along for photography opportunities. It needs some effort to place it back to make sure it sits still after it.

The theme set in the cafe would make you feel home with the furniture and their settings. Air-conditioning is well-function too, definitely another good spot to hangout for those who prefer staying indoor.

Another photography stop!

Menu is prepared in simpler way in such laminated sheets are combine with ribbon as the side.

Set Meal might be a good choice to consider to you, perhaps?

Outsourced cakes
This is Mocha Mille Crepe, RM 9.90 per slice.

Kitchen is clean as you could see, thumbs up.

D' Secret Chicken Chop + Drinks
(RM 15.90- Set Meal )
Homestyle-prepared chicken chop. Servings is not fascinating as you could see and the fries are not enough to eat! Haha!!
Spaghetti Aglio Olio with Fish Fillet + Drinks
(RM12.90 - Set Meal)
First thing to give credit is the portion, small or moderate diners could opt this
 for sharings of two pax
D' Grill Black Pepper Chicken Chpp + Drinks
(RM 15.90 - Set Meal)
Grilling is fairly nice and again, fries are not enough for fries lover, haha!!
D' Irish Fish 'n' Chips + Drinks
(RM 15.90 - Set Meal)
The serving plate drew our attention to be frank, it's like what we could see on seafood stall when the steamed fish is served hahaha!
Fish fillet tastes moderate, plus, it is not too dry to consome, you may give a try on it.

In overall, Coffee D is a place for quiet and peaceful dining moment with your beloved ones, I suppose. The choices of food is quite limited and we don't find much interesting in a whole upon our dining. However, you may consider to make a visits on your own for the sake of calming dining environment.

You could save the location for your own convenience.
