Woah, April is ending soon and yet this is just my second blog post of the month ! I've been rushing my assignments,quizzes and also attending meetings for the spring event on 9th May !
I'm just so much grateful that I have free time, should be, personal time , so blogging is the main thing I wanna do for myself , YEAH !
Despite the overdue posts which I have yet to publish, this post is about food, again, haha ! ( Obviously, I love FOOD ). It's the first outing for Prettiest 8.
Prettiest 8 ? huh?
It's just a group name for a gang of 8 people ( beautiful ladies ), we are all coursemates and hostel-mates ! haha different blocks though
TA-DAA ! All business maths students

Our first outing was held last week, after Programming paper . It was a random and sudden plan and we successfully made it in the end ! Haha, last-minute-planning is more steadier than those long-ago-planned ones ,ya?
We went to Jitra . We reached there by rental car. There're lots of rental car services here, mostly Perodua Viva.
Rm 10 for the first hour and rm 5 for the following each hour.
We reached Restoran 5 Utara. It's one of the famous Chinese-Siam cuisine restaurants in Jitra. You would be recommended to dine in there whenever you visit Jitra.
But then, dinner hour, so full house and we didn't do booking . So we headed to another one, Restoran Kampung Siam, nearby 5 Utara restaurant.
This is it. It's nearby Jitra Mall.
Call for booking to avoid disappointment for your taste buds and tummy !
Kampung Siam restaurant has another name, Rung Reang.
It's almost full house in Kampung Siam restaurant but the place is larger than 5 Utara restaurant, luckily we'd got a table for ourselves.
We finished ordering at around 9 and food served after around half an hour.
Stir fried 菜胆 with salted fish.
We said 'Kailan' and we were served 菜胆
The portion is not enough for eight of us, especially me this veggie lover.
Personally, it's a little bit oily which it's really out of my expectation ! Urgh, make my taste buds down ! Haha
This Japenese Tofu with crab meat !
Ya, obviously, this tastes great as the the crab meat brings up the aroma of the dishes in overall. The sauce is best served with rice, only when it's just served on table, warm temperature.
The third dish was fried cuttlefish !
Crispy, it taste tantalizing once it was served up on table. And as expected, oily ! haha, moderate meal la anyway.
红腮鱼with 潮州蒸
Frankly, this disappointed all of us !
The fish too way too small, the aroma of the soup is very slack, and the fish isn't very fresh .
This is usually the main dish for students like us when we are out for a good meal but it's not for this time, unlucky us.
How would we miss to order Tomyam soup whenever we dine at a ala-thai-restaurant ?
This is a pot of seafood tomyam soup.
It tastes sweet, not that spicy compared to the one served in 5 Utara restaurant.
Not bad though.
We paid a total of nearly rm180 for this dinner. Our beverage was coconut jelly and a jar of pat-poh (八宝）
It didn't satisfy my taste buds, still, I prefer 5 utara restarant !
Anyway, smile ! Thanks to you guys for making up this dinner
We reached hostel at around 10.30pm.
And this ended the day of exhausting Programming paper with this dinner .
There'll be more chances for us to dine at 5 Utara restaurant, we even plan for our first getaway at Langkawi and also Hatyai ! But keep calm and let's fight for the spring event night, 年轻就是本钱, we will realize it one by one , for sure !

( Oh ya, I'm so happy that I'm one of the semi finalist for The Youth Award 2014 , do my best for the sake of taking experience, I don't expect to outstand anyway)
